IAFF Local 1892 member elected as President of Whitman County, WA  EMS Council.

On January 28th, 2010, one of our own, Brother Blake Richards was elected by his peers to serve a one year term as the president of the Whitman County EMS Council.

Brother Richards has been a member of Pullman Firefighters - IAFF Local 1892 for three years and in the fire service for approximately 8 years.  Brother Richards serves in the capacity of Firefighter/Paramedic.

When asked what some goals are that he would like to accomplish, Brother Richards stated, "I would like to improve the overall EMS services in Whitman County.  Specifically by improving the working relationships between all Whitman County EMS agencies.  I would also like to review and implement changes to the county EMS protocols to ensure they are up to date and continue to meet industry standards."
