Local 1892 E-Board Members Read at Library

Local 1892 President Eric Reiber and Secretary/Treasurer Chris Volk read several stories to children at Neill Public Library on July 22nd.

Several excited children and their families were waiting for the doors to open in anticipation of the annual firefighter's story day at the library.  Firefighters Reiber and Volk read several stories and provided a short safety presentation to the children.

The members of IAFF Local 1892 also presented a check from their benevolent fund in the amount of $500.00 to enhance the selection of firefighting related children's books available at the library.  This donation adds to the children's fire engine reading area members of Local 1892 donated to the library several years ago.
