A Shift Handles House Fire

Second alarm fire brought several PFD units to NW Clifford on February 9th. Incident Commander Captain Van Ness initiated an agressive interior attack, coordinated with search and rescue and ventilation. Rescue crews identified three dogs inside the smoke filled structure. The dogs were sucessfully rescued and returned to their grateful owners.

Firefighters respond to a vehicle over an embankment

Pullman firefighters responded to a car over the edge behind Dissmores. Firefighters stabalize the car using technical rescue tactics. The firefighters were able to rescue the driver and transport the patient to the hospital.

Pullman Firefighters vent a roof

On this day Dec 15th 2008 Pullman firefighters battled a blaze in below zero weather. Engine 32 Lieutenant Fisher sounded a second alarm as he saw a large column of smoke while responding to the call. This brought all on duty and off duty personell to the fire. An aggressive interior attack by Engine 32 brought the flames to a hold. Meanwhile, firefighter Wilkins and Lt. Foster go to the roof to ventilate heat and smoke.

Lentil Festival Dunk Tank
